Hey all,
I just came across the "power chamber" for a Honeywell electronic fog horn / signal. Its a very heavy cast iron device 18 inches outside diameter x 34inches long, with 2 side outlets, occilating piston drives opposite trumpets. TAG is rough but reads FIAC Honeywell Elac ??????? Germany, ELG 300-D2 ????? 550 ???? 34-037-8007 ????? 1980.

If anyone knows anything about this thing, drop me a note. Sorry I didnt have my camera

I found a website that answers most of my questions.

http://homepages.manx.net/fredd/fog.html

Too much of a project for me right now.

If anyone is interested in owning one of these, minus the power supply, in poor condition, let me know.

Yeah, you don't want this. These are the modern foghorns in use today that make a boring sinusoidal BOOOOOOOOP. The part you describe is just the speaker, which has a voice coil and pair of stainless steel diaphramgs. You need the power supply to make it work. The power supply is a large cabinet. Very dull...
